Hey I'm a beginner and would like to buy a used pc. Play Fortnite and would like to get over 140 fps low, possible?
1x system meeting GAMING ST-R05 RED
1x AMD Ryzen 5 2600 - 6x 3.4GHz (Turbo 3.9GHz) 16MB L3-Cache AM4 »
1x standard CPU cooler »
1x Asus Prime B450M-A - Socket AM4 »
1x 16GB, DDR4-3200, Corsair Vengeance LPX black DIMM Kit CL16 (2x 8GB - Dual Channel)
1x Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660Ti 6GB »
1x 500Watt Xilence XP500 Performance C power supply - XN052
1x SSD S-ATA III 1000GB
1x Windows 10 64Bit Pro
That would work in performance mode, yes.
And without?
If you look at the current price range of hardware, especially graphics cards, it looks good for the money.
CPU is a bit older but is still good enough for most games, graphics card just like that, if you are satisfied with Full HD gaming 😉. And you can manage 140 fps with it, you may have to lower the graphics settings a bit, but the card is more than sufficient for fortnite.
Only I would not like the power supply, I prefer Seasonic, Corsair or Bequiet. Well, for the money it all looks really OK.
Will not be more than 60, is just not a very blatant PC…
For 570 euro OK, especially with the current hardware prices, but for the processor I would go with the Ryzen 5 3600, which is now even a little cheaper and beats the 2600 in many areas.
Otherwise I would look again at the mainboard, maybe I would rather drive the Rog Strix B 450-C-Gaming.
Even without it, I have a Ryzen 5 3400G, a 1060 6GB and 16GB 3200MHz. Can easily play the game at 60FPS on the highest settings.
Basically a very good 1080p gaming PC.
Very important, 2 x 8GB RAM
The price is absolutely great. 570 euro The 1660ti card alone is currently around 400 euro +
140FPS can probably only be achieved in performance mode at 1080p.
In my opinion it could be that you met a fake site from which side is it?
because the GTX 1660ti costs 400 euro and the rest of the items must add up to 900 euro
It's used.
Oh well then the pc is good for the price
Are you saying that you can play at 140 FPS without Performance Mode, or am I getting it wrong?
I didn't mention 140 FPS anywhere, but if I get 90FPS with my setup (listed above) at high settings and shadows, you should get well over 100FPS with a better CPU and GPU on the same settings.
Without too
You wrote that under my answer, where I wrote that it only goes to 144 FPS in performance mode…
