Hi together I have a new gaming pc everything worked, but my ryzen 5 3600 gets up to 74 degrees warm with fortnite zock with about 40% load, that's normla
A CPU can get hotter to 95 ° C for a short time. On average at full capacity, a temperature of up to 70 ° C would be optimal, but it can also go up to 80 ° C.
Then something is wrong with the cooling or your PC is dusty. 74 degrees are the upper edge of a CPU.
That is already relatively high, but still okay.
Keep watching. If you get over 85 degrees in summer, then you should replace the CPU cooler.
At 94 degrees, Ryzen makes an emergency shutdown.
The CPU should stay below 85 ° C on average under load. In the peak should not be more than 90C ° on the clock.
However, these temps are neither optimal nor good, but merely still acceptable.
With Ryzen CPUs, the emergency shutdown is only at 94 degrees.
PS: Your case should have at least 1 further case fan in addition to the power supply unit and the CPU fan should not be dusty.
