Do you find this configuration to perform well in games (especially Fortnite) and video editing?

I keep trying to improve my configuration. Could you give me tips to improve it?

As components I would have the following:

Monitor: Samsung C27JG54 144Hz WQHD

Mainboard: MSI Pro-Vdh Max

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600

CPU cooler: be quiet! Pure rock slim

GPU: XFX 5700 XT THICC II Ultra

Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200 Mhz

SSD: Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 500GB

HDD: WD Blue Cache 1000GB

Power supply: be quiet! Pure Power 500WT

ay

I think the monitor is super, I have the same one but first have to activate 144hz in the monitor settings

The rest also fits if you absolutely need RGB ram. You can take the 1tb version of the 970 evo instead of the HDD, everything would be faster

ay

I think the evo without plus is enough

Se

Ok what do you mean by activate

Se

And at de ssd it is only 10 euro anyway

ay

In the settings of the monitor you have to set to 144 Hz freesync then you see

Se

Ok and free sync I also have to activate or

Yes

Your shopping cart looks optimal, I would only suggest a larger HDD because 1 TB is quickly full (10 large games). Better take at least 2 TB https://www.mindfactory.de/...13978.html, they don't cost too much.

Only if you want to stream CPU-intensive games in real time in the future, then I recommend the Ryzen 3700 instead of the 3600.

For normal video editing or to record Fortnite, the 3600 is more than enough! 😊

It is best to set current AAA games "only to high" so that you achieve enough FPS on your 144Hz WQHD monitor. For Ultra Settings in WQHD with 140 FPS you would have to take an RTX 2080 Ti…))

Se

Thank you was very helpful. This app is for people like you.

mi

Glad to be very welcome Sean! 😊 πŸ’– Before making an expensive investment, you should inform yourself beforehand, although your shopping cart has already been very neat! πŸ‘

Se

Thank you

Se

And I took jz 2tb HDD. Then it fits

Se

I have jz 2tb HDD then it fits

Se

OK thanks

Se

Are 4 tb too much or does it fit with 4 tb

mi

So I also have a 2TB HDD, 1.3 TB of which are occupied, and it won't get much anymore because I don't get to play that much and therefore delete some games.

Calculate yourself how much space you need. Do you want to install 20 or 50 games in Steam at some point? Each game has an average of maybe 50 GB.

How many videos do you want to create and archive if necessary? An hour in Full HD can be up to 7 GB.

If you think that 2 TB could become scarce, the extra charge of 4 TB is only 20 EUR. But if you need an additional HDD at some point you have to invest 70 EUR for 2 TB.

Se

I have WQHD. Ok very helpful thanks

mi

Oh yes, I had completely forgotten! Of course WQHD! πŸ‘ πŸ‘Œ 😊

Se

Will probably now take 2tb hdd since I will mainly play fortnite and cut vieos. That's enough or yes

mi

But of course, and Fortnite itself can even be installed on the SSD if you will mainly play it. 😊

Se

Yes, there comes the second part of my question. Should I save the Epic Games Launcher on the HDD and the "game" Fortnite on the SSD?
