So
currently I have:
Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 5770 Series
Core: i5 2500k 3.3 Ghz
Motherboard: Maximus IV Gene-Z
and I want to upgrade:
Graphics Card: GIGABYTE Radeon RX 580 Gaming 8GB (GV-RX580GAMING-8GD) (AMD, Graphics Card)
Core: i5 2500k 3.3 Ghz
Motherboard: Maximus IV Gene-Z
and then you know by chance how much FPS you would have in fortnite on completely epic then?
Over 100, I would appreciate. (At 1080p)
And would it fit?
From board and GPU, yes, the question is whether your power supply provides enough power. It should be here at least a 400-450 W NT, natively brings an 8 pin PCIe power connector.
Where do I see what I have?
Open the calculator and look it up. Maybe you can see it already, if you look at the back of the PC, if you can read from there the model name of the power supply.
Can't you look like in the PC with programs as I have done with my processor?
No, the NT and its specs can't read a program. This is just on a sticker on the NT itself. (And of course in its manual / packaging)
HM ok
It says Raider RA 750
That should be enough. Is rather oversized.
What do you mean with oversized
The i5 2500K is not the latest anymore. It will possibly slow down the 580 CPU games from time to time. But not so, that the game becomes unplayable. So, why not?
Even with Fortnite it can happen that at max settings and many players at once the CPU gets to the limits. I guess on average it's 60-80 FPS with a few drops under 60 frames.
60-80 FPS at full Epic is completely clear because then I'll play normally or so anyway, think epic is only necessary if you can afford it. And I'll upgrade the CPU in 2020, maybe on a Ryzen if that's possible
If you make the shadows you come on epic loose to the 100, synonymous have ne rx580.
It provides you with more than enough power.
Achsooo lol
As I said, except for a few frame drops, which will probably happen in all graphics settings. Liquid enough but it will run with the 2500K. That's what all YT videos say.
If you operate the CPU in the OC, it manages to supply a GTX 1060 or RX 570.
Nice would be perfect shadow anyway haha meaningless
