Performance mode or not?

Hi, I have always used the performance mode in Fortnite, as I mostly had 165 fps until the end game (have a 165hz monitor). Now, however, I find the new performance mode absolutely disgusting, but on DX11 my fps drop to about 130-150 fps at some point, as with everyone. Now my question is: should I prefer performance with almost always 160fps or normal but just a few drops?

What do you get 160fps when you probably have 144hz.

So I would also pay attention to the graphics and play with drops.

Hmm So I would be enough shaky 144fps. Better with less FPS than with Kack graphics.
