I have a question about the "Performance mode" in Fortnite. I've seen many other Youtubers or streamers how their performance mode looks. For me, however, it doesn't look like yours, but rather resembles the graphics on mobile devices. Is there any way I can change this? I currently have a Ryzen 5 1600 with an rx 570
I also selected Performence (Alpha) on my Fortnite because I play or have played on the notebook.
For me some textures have even 'disappeared' or invisible in some houses and also in the sand.
If you have FPS problems and have therefore switched to Performence, there's not much you can do, the more you improve the textures, the worse your FPS will be (it was like that for me).
In addition, the rantering mode is only alpha (i.e. The first version).
Okay I could also play directx but with the performance mode I have stable FPS and with directx sometimes only 70-80. I'm used to playing over 120
That's not bad at all, if I were you I would switch to DirectX again because performance still has some problems.
Ok then I'll do that thanks.
Happy and have fun.
Thanks
The problem is that you (or I in any case) can't switch back to directX… I'm a bit desperate because I would like to record nice cinematics and they just don't look good in terms of performance… I've done everything about performance mode turn off again, but it doesn't work… Every time I restart, the performance mode is set…
How can that be? You'll have to change it and then restart Fortnite. Which device do you play on?
I play on a PC… I even reinstalled high-resolution textures in the launcher and in the gamefiles set a checkmark in the properties of a file, which you had to remove in order to use performance mode… In the end I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game… Didn't work either
Oh that's embarrassing now… I've been trying for days and now I've just been able to fix it haha
Well then
