I recently set the performance mode at Fortnite. To do this, you have to switch to Performance mode in the game and then uninstall High Resolution Rendering from Fortnite in the Epic Games Launcher and set a tick in the properties of a file in the game files.
But now I want to turn it all off again, so I have undone all the steps and even uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game. Without success. Every time I restart the game, it's back to performance mode…
Simply reset to DirectX 11 or 12 and restart.
Maybe try it with% appdata% - then at the top on AppData - Local - FortniteGame - Saved - Config - WindowsClient - right click on GameUserSettings - Properties - check the box next to Read-only - then start the game and switch to DirectX11 or 12 in the In Game Settings - Restart the game
So you have to enter the% appdata% at the bottom left of this Windows search bar
Oh man yes! So I did something similar before, but it didn't work because I didn't go to FortniteGame, but to EpicgamesLauncher or something like that.
