Dear readers,
I currently have a problem with the load on my processor. I have an Intel Core i5 6600 3.3 Ghz and 4 cores. Although I ONLY have Fortnite and Discord open, my processor is always running at 100%. I close all programs that are open on the side and it does not improve. Fortnite is always running at 80-92% of total processor power. My graphics level on Fortnite is very low everywhere anti-anialising oä is turned off.
I would be happy about tips.
Have you ever looked in the Task Manager for the program with the highest cpu utilization?
Do you have many FPS in the game? Because then that's normal for a 4-coreer without hyperthreading. That's why 6 cores and 12 threads should be the minimum for gaming.
This is normal because low settings rather load the CPU is normal
I see. A 7700k is still in the first guard of the gaming CPUs and guess what it does not have, 12 threads or 6 cores.
I had the 7700k myself and knows that it limits in games where high FPS are important. That's why I switched to the 9900k.
Restart there hangs a windowsupdate.
It is also possible that you have no frame date
Do not take the Schorle so seriously, he has something with attention…
Not really.
I have the problem for about 2 months
I would then find it very unusual that you can't play well with such a processor
High should then charge less? Does it make sense?
Wiviele frames do you have?
If you do not set a limit and play low, the CPU shoots as many frames as it can… You have to set a limit.
Otherwise, check event notification and startup programs.
I have already written. Fournit with 80-92%
You have a good CPU! Not a high flyer but a good one!
@ bytes618 I'm trying to get my 200fps on the 200hz from my monitor. But I have a RTX2070 that should not be possible with the comp?
Only if the CPU supplies the power as well.
What do you have for a motherboard?
Oh.
I currently own the msi z170h @ bytes618
Yes that makes perfect sense…
You can't either
I do not find 4 cores without hyperthreading
Is because of your stupid pc.
There's an expensive 7700k overclock possible
to register in the forum
oc is faster than a 2600 and most of all more frames
@ bytes618 But I have an ordinary i5 6600
Who does not make the 200 frames…
Your motherboard supports the 7700k with new bios, you have a z chip with which you can overclock k cpu s.
But the 7700k is expensive af
Uninstall your additional virus scanner.
Is also a super cpu.
