Gtx 770 - i5 4440 - 16 gb ram
Gtx 1050 - i5 8400 - 8 GB ram
the pc will only be for fortnite (play everything low or this new performance mode to get more fps) you would be very grateful for answers because i don't know my way around
The lower one as the upper one is very out of date. 8gb ram is very little, 16 is better. But both configurations are out of date, do you want to buy a used PC or how do you come up with it?
Yes get a used one because I have no money for a new one (the two pcs are in top condition)
Then take the lower one. You can expand the RAM to 16 GB. You should also replace the thermal paste between the processor and the cooler.
Not quite true. The GTX 770 is better than the GTX 1050.
16GB is of course better than 8GB - but it also depends on the respective MHz.
i5 8400 is generally better than the i5 4440
Both are not the best because you only want to play Fortnite and on low settings I would recommend you not an Intel but an AMD processor from Ryzen 5. But if you still want to decide for one of the two, I would recommend the above because it has more RAM (main memory). However, if you can combine the two Pc's I would take the lower one just at 8 GB ram I would take 16.
If you want, I can also configure a PC in your price range for you.
LG and have a nice evening
Does that make a fps difference in fortnite? Again mentioned play everything low (new performance mode)
Both PCs are fine for your needs. Until recently, I had a GTX 770 myself and also tried Fortnite. Can you then also play in higher or medium settings.
As already mentioned, the GTX 770 is better than the GTX 1050 (by ~ 10-20%)
The prices would be quite interesting or your budget - then you could possibly get something better out of it
The lower one.
And with the 1050 ti you don't necessarily have to play on low settings. Fortnite also handles medium or high settings smoothly.
However, I would upgrade the RAM to 16 GB when the opportunity arises. 8 are really few now.
Thank you, yes you have to decide between one of the two (play all settings low (new performance mode) to get more fps
So the upper pc costs 200 euro the lower 300 euro (both in top condition) but the lower one has a much better cpu i5 8400 is far better than 4440 or am I confusing something
In itself, yes. Only I found the processor was proper here. The main point I was paying attention to. And a GTX 1050 is own nowadays. Still usable. It shouldn't make too big a difference to what the GPU does because it is played on low settings. As I said, upgrade the RAM first, then you can look at the GPU later.
Ok then take the upper one because the cpu is only a bit worse and you can boost the graphics card with MSI Afterburner. This is a program that when you have it running in the background boosts your graphics card, no matter which one you have
Unfortunately it's only a GTX 1050 no ti, what do you think how much fps I can manage with the? With the new performance mode where you get more fps (google for short if you don't know what that is)
Should be proper. Not too much if you're playing on low settings. I found the processor more important in this case.
Does this program cost anything & is it difficult to use? Since I'm new to pc
So the one with the 1050? Some think the top one is confused now
That's right. But for a price difference of 100 euro then even less RAM. 4440 is by no means a bad CPU, just older.
However, if you have a little more money available - I could recommend the PC on hardware advice. For example for 600 euro
I would take that because the GPU doesn't have to do that much on low settings. I would just see if something can be done about the price.
Let's say I'll take the one with the GTX 770, what would you improve for 100-150 euro directly that I would have the money that I would have to spend
No, the program is free of charge and you don't have to set anything apart from starting the pc automatically. You can also use it ingame to display your fps and the temperature of your CPU = processor and GPU = graphics card if you have set them. You can download the program here: https://www.chip.de/...26644.html
Ps: I use the program myself and have an average of 150 fps more (which will not be so much for you because your pc is worse than mine)
Unfortunately the person says 300 euro fixed price: /
What do you think how much fps i get with the above in fortnite with this performance mode and possibly this program
I suspect around 70 in battle royal and around 100-120 in creativ. However, I haven't played an Fn myself for months and therefore don't know whether the game needs more performance.
The lower PC is better, I would recommend that one. Especially because at some point you can simply upgrade to 16 GB Ram. With the upper one you would have to upgrade the graphics card and CPU, which is more expensive.
The lower costs 300 and the upper 200 & what do you think how much fps I get with all low settings (performance mode more fps)
What kind of resolution are you playing for? FHD?
Stop performance mode which makes everything low & stop 1080p could each put one down to 16: 9
Okay, so it's Full HD. 16: 9 is the aspect ratio. Then you should have 60+ FPS all the time.
Would like more than 120 is that possible? I looked at some benchmarks (for the first pc with the 770) because the guy with low settings had up to 120-180 fps and now there's even the new performance mode that pushes the fps
+ the type only had 8gb ram and the pc has 16gb
That's right, I just misread it 🙈.
Yes, but according to Youtube, around 60 fps are possible with the 1050 on epic settings. I guess with the performance mode 90 - 120 fps are possible, if you are to believe what you read about it. Since I'm not a Fortnite player myself, I can say little about that. And if, my PC has the performance mode, I don't think it's necessary.
If the pc has 60 fps on epic settings then it will be low on all (is this performance mode and pushes something to it) it will have more than 90-120 i guess
It can be. In any case, the graphics card offers enough performance for the game. But there's also what kind of monitor you have. A 60Hz monitor only reproduces 60 fps. To use the full potential you need a 144 Hz monitor.
The upper one has 16gb, yes, but a poorer processor. Maybe you can get 120 fps, I don't play Fortnite myself.
I should know the full specs. The easiest way to upgrade is GPU, RAM, HDDs / SSDs and then CPUs.
But does it cost a lot?
At the moment, the prices for new hardware are absurd anyway.
A GTX 1650 Super cost 150 euro in October 2020 and has now risen to around 200 euro.
So actually a bad time to upgrade
