I have Framdrops in Fortnite. If I set the graphics settings to Max., Then I have about 150FPS but sometimes so all 5-10s droop the FPS to about 50 and that then leads to it just does not run smoothly. If I set the graphics settings to min. Then I have about 300FPS but still these drops. The Internet, RAM and processor can't be faulty, they are not more than 50% busy and my ping is stable 20-30ms. My GrKa utilization is between 80-100% and has about 70-80 degrees (GTX 1070). The funny thing is that it runs on some days completely liquid so always stable 150FPS without fluctuations. VSYNC, FPS limit I have already tried everything but no results. Other games, such as GTA V running with Max. Settings stable with 60FPS only sometimes in Fortnite I get such drops. What could that be?
Reinstall the game once.
Then limit the Fps at 60, then you will not feel the drop anymore.
But it does not change anything
At sometimes, the game server may be very busy, and then scatter those performance issues back to your system during gameplay.
Have you ever tried to finish the game on bad days and start again?
