Blatant FPS drops despite good hardware?

I have in Fortnite (yes I play Fortnite. Regular FPS Drops. GPU is nh Gtx 1660 Super (not overclocked), CPU is the Ryzen 5 2600, RAM 16gb… Have tried a lot, but nothing helps. Do you have a plan for that? My guess is the CPU but I don't know how to fix it either. Drivers are all new, really strange. We're talking about fortnite that should run normally even on a toaster. If I set fps to unlimited, I get it mostly at 280 fps (play on the lowest graphics) but these fps drops are really annoying.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

What is FPS drops

di

How much do the FPS fluctuate? If, for example, they drop to only 180 for a short moment, set an FPS limit of 180 and see if that's enough for you.

How much Mhz does the RAM have? Which power supply do you use?

di

If the FPS (frames per second) suddenly drop from e.g. 200 to 150 and then directly back to 200

be

How much hz does your monitor have at 60hz or 144 is it not bad if the FPS drops to 150

jo

75 Hz, drop to 30-50 fps.

jo

500watt power supply 80+ gold from be quiet. I don't know MHz now, but everything is new. The fps drop to 30-50. And only play after a while

di

That means everything is going well at first and after a while it starts to jerk? Could be a temperature problem. How warm do the components get when playing?

jo

I also suspect how can I view this? Is there a nice program that shows me all temperatures etc?

di

Would recommend MSI Afterburner. This is included in the Rivatuner Statistics program. Take a look at a tutorial on YouTube, where you can display all possible information in games

Ch

Yes I know that… Just wanted to know how far and so

jo

The program still had 🤦♂️😂. In any case, the GPU is never over 30 percent and 55 degrees and the CPU is never over 25 percent and 45 degrees. Hm.
