Have no idea how it works with the Hz…
So I was once told that the Hz of a monitor are also the FPS limit. Say: if I have a 144 hz monitor, I can only play at 144 fps despite good pc, which would normally pack more, right?
See picture below for my gaming PC
Is it worth it for my PC NEN 240 hz monitor to buy or is there synonymous a 144 hz, because he would net anyway net more?
Btw I intend to rinse with the PC only Fortnite and stream
Would be very grateful for your help.

no, that is not correct.
Well, you can of course display a maximum of 144 Hz, but more FPS are still worthwhile
240hz will not hurt you, you will not be able to make a difference, and virtually no video card can currently play at that much fps. 144hz are already maximum and I would not buy more hz. 100-120hz I find enough already because you notice no difference anymore.
That's completely wrong.
You will be able to tell a difference.
Get started, practically all competitive games run at 240 fps or more if you want it. The engine limit of Overwatch z.b. Is 300fps.
Can you find that.
You notice a difference - not even umbedingt the picture but inputlag.
The setup is 1440p / 144hz if you like graphics quality - or 240hz on full hd if you play a lot of competetive games.
So CS: GO, MObas, etc. Pp = 240hz
Triple A games = 144hz, because 240hz are absolutely meaningless, even at 1080p not reach.
A full-HD 144hz screen is in the system m.M.n. Ne absolute waste.
No, just no. You can tell from about 120fps hardly to no difference. Also not at the input was. And yes you could gamble with 240fps but then with the lowest settings in fhd, and who would like to gamble with such a kack graphics (even with esport titles, I would not even do it). And he wants to play with it Fortnite, because it will probably need no 240hz, actually no 140hz…
