I recently had a GeForce Gtx 1060 6GB installed in my PC. Otherwise my PC has an i5 7400 and 8 GB RAM. Fortnite has run significantly worse since the new graphics card. I always have small hangers (even on bad settings) and the Fortnite map only renders after 5 minutes in the gameplay. The funny thing is all other games (Gta, Warzone, F1) I can play without problems. I have already reinstalled my game and I also have all the drivers for my graphics card. My question: why is that and what do I have to do so that I can play normally again.
How much is your hardware busy? You can look in the Task Manager.
CPU: 34%
RAM: 53%
GPU: 5%
(I have no program open)
I mean if you play Fortnite
Okay when I play fortnite
CPU: 68%
GPU: 36%
RAM: 76%
Did you activate V-Sync?
No, I disabled it.
The Rukler are not my biggest problem, I can live with that, because they do not occur often. But the map does not render is very annoying because you can hardly play.
Then update your graphics card drivers in Device Manager and make the latest Windows updates.
I did it, somehow it doesn't work.
Then check the game settings again to see if something is wrong or reinstall the game
Have I already, it doesn't help somehow, very funny?
See if the tips bring anything…
Do you have an SSD?
Are there any problems with your PC outside of Fortnite, or has it generally slowed down?
Actually not, as I said with other games, it is not so, warzone (which should actually pull a lot more) runs much smoother just like gta. I'll take a look at the link
I don't have an SSD I think
