Since this afternoon (I played a few hours before) I have massive FPS drops in Fortnite. Sometimes I get a constant 240FPS under 60FPS, which is unplayable and quite often, regardless of whether it's creative or public.
Hardware: i9 9900KF, Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon, H100i RGB Platinum, RTX 2070 Super Gaming X Trio, 2x8GB 3200MHz RAM, 650W Straight Power 11
The temperatures of the graphics card always stay below 55 degrees, my CPU goes to 65 degrees at most.
What can I do against it?
I always had fps drops until I set a limit. Give it a try.
It is best if you just leave the PC alone to let the hardware cool down.
Then it should work again. It was the same for me once: I did something on the PC all the time, and after a while everything was hanging, after that I left the computer alone for a while, and then everything went again.
