Performance mode in Fortnite?

I have such a problem in Fortnite and I activated Performance Mode in Fortnite because I get more fps and because I saw that with the pros when they e.g. Build a wall that is so animated in blue I hope you know what I mean, but nothing blue is animated with me when I build something

This may be because you didn't set your settings to low, but rather high.
