So as the title says, I need help. If a professional could help me it would be really nice, as I will soon be assembling a new PC & need to know which components I need. In addition to Fortnite, I will also record on low settings. On YT I watched all the videos on CPU & GPU combinations, but only one really got constant 240fps, i9 & rtx 2080ti, I would not like to pay more than is really necessary xu)

The eye can only record 60 fps

So

Not correct.

pi

That's not true.

Fl

Do you have a monitor with 240 Hz or why this number?

So

How much do you want to spend?

I have a Recher with an i9 9900K and an RTX 2070 Super. With this I achieve constant 240FPS almost all the time.

The reason I didn't buy a better graphics card is that my GPU is never 100% full with low graphics settings, mostly even under 50%. Therefore, in this scenario you would get exactly zero frames per second with an RTX 2080 TI.

But do you have a 240hz monitor at all? Otherwise these high frame rates won't help you.

So

It's nice that you don't lose your sense of humor even in corona times.

If everything is over, you can visit someone from this list:

This is wrong, better inform yourself, because this knowledge is out of date.

Za

But I doubt that your CPU is permanently busy, or because it is quite expensive for what it only offers

So

It is not permanently busy. Even as the best gaming CPU, however, it can't perform better.

Za

But does that justify the high price?
I just doubt it because the P / L ratio just isn't worth it

So

For me it is.

Za

Well, but what do you need this service for if I may ask?

So

To achieve 240FPS.

Za

Lol

Re

You know for me it is important that I have constant 240fps even under heavy load. Quasi about 340-360fps, so in the endgame if there are still 40-70 people in the endzone I still get constant at 240fps. But the i9 is good I heard hehe

Re

I get the 240hz monitor afterwards.

So

You won't get 240FPS in the endgame, I promise you.

Unfortunately, even with the best PCs, this is impossible.

Fl

240fps is quite a bit. So much that small things like a Windows update or something like that will make you thwart. Therefore: go to 144 or 160, save yourself 600 euro and buy a Ryzen with a 2070. Otto normal gamers like you and I don't really notice the difference between 240 and 160 Hz. And even if that won't increase your performance.
