In your opinion, is the Ryzen 7 5800x the best 400 Euro CPU?
Or do you get other CPUs which are better for the money?
And would an Intel or Amd be more worthwhile for CS: GO, Valorant and Fortnite?

The Intel Core I7-11700K is in no way inferior to the Ryzen7 5800X and costs exactly the same.

Yes hmm what does better mean? Better in what? So these are high-end 8 core processors that just yawn wearily about the toaster games you mentioned. Intel's direct competitor would be the I7-11700K. That would be a few percent faster in the single core performance. In terms of multicore performance, AMD would be ahead. The AMD is a little more power efficient. But all in all, that's a few percent that you can measure in the best case, but make absolutely no difference in actual daily use.

Oh, they're always head to head. The two emerged victorious from a decade-long competition. Intel was actually always a bit ahead and more reliable. But Amd is equal.
