I have an old Dell office computer which I want to upgrade to a budget gaming pc.

I3 2100

HD 7750

8gb ddr3 ram 4x 2gb

500gb 7200 rpm HDD

Dell optiplex 790 motherboard

I want to play fortnite (performance mode) on the PC from the group that runs smoothly, unfortunately it is too weak in spite of performance mode so I need a stronger process but my choice is very limited by my 265 watt Dell power supply and the mainboard. I'm now very unsure which prozi would work and which would not also I heard that some Dell maimboards do not accept processor upgrades…

Si

I would just get a new PC, everything is out of date in your PC.

If not look for processors that fit on your socket and get the best one, you can send it back if it doesn't work. And buy a new power supply

no

You can take an i7 or i5 Sandy Bridge (2000).

The best thing is something like an i5-2500 which is cheap. If you have the money, a i7-2600 would be good but they are relatively expensive. The GPU would definitely switch to a GTX 750ti. The HD 7750 is really bad.

OK

Manages over 100 fps in performance mode that's enough for me, the CPU causes problems
