Does the mouse jerk at 144hz?

Today I tested Fortnite on my new 144hz monitor. I went into a round and immediately noticed that when I move my mouse it jerky or short still pictures. However, when I watch someone after I die, everything runs smoothly with a good frame rate. At 60hz that works fine with the mouse, but only over 60hz. I tried everything hopefully someone can help me

What kind of pc do you have?

CPU: Intel Core i5 - 7400 3 GHz

GPU: Geforce GTX 1050 ti

8 gb ram

What settings are you playing on?
