Hello is it that when you play on the handheld mode that you have 30 fps and when you play on the television that you have more fps depending on the performance of the television?

fe

Has nothing to do with the TV only depending on the TV the input was less but has nothing to do with fps

Ve

No, that's not right. TVs have no "performance". As far as I know, only the resolution and the input lag are different.

And if you play on the television that you have more fps depending on the performance of the television?

the television has - apart from the resolution - no effect on the reading of the switch

The TV does not affect the FPS. How is it supposed to, it has nothing to do with the creation of the frames and therefore can't reduce or increase the number per second. The images are generated by the switch hardware and are only sent to the television, which then displays them.

However, it depends on the performance of the TV how big the delay between your input and the displayed picture is. The fewer milliseconds the TV needs to display the frames, the more direct the feeling is.

The resolution of the television has only a limited influence on the FPS, because the maximum resolution of the switch is limited, no matter how much the television can display. I also guess that the FPS of the switch are limited. Thus, the switch will always reach the limit and not go beyond it, even if you play on 480p or 4k resolution on the TV.
