I want to buy a 240hz monitor and my question is whether it's worth it. I play Fortnite at a high level and I want to get even better. My PC is strong enough I think (Corei7-9700k + RTX2070s). Some say it is between 144Hz and There's almost no difference 240hz, but some also say that there's a big difference. The best players also play on 240hz, so should there be advantages or not?
The jump from 144hz to 240hz is not as noticeable as the jump from 60hz to 144hz, moreover you also have to get 240hz otherwise it is not worth it.
If you have the money then do it, but it would be nice if you don't just play fortnite 🤡 (fun, do what you want). If the money is there, then yes!

Try it out somewhere first and think about whether you would prefer to go to 165 fps with wqhd if the specs work.
By default you have about a 15 ms delay, it just comes from the input, you can't do anything about it
I have a 240hz monitor myself and if you think that the difference between 144FPS and 240FPS is not available or very small, you are simply wrong.
My 240hz monitor in Fortnite helped me a lot!
