Suppose I want to get a new cpu: AMD or Intel?
I have often heard that AMD would be better, but Intel would be better. What do you think?
When I'm at the Pc, I mainly play Fortnite, Overwatch, etc., but occasionally cut some Youtube videos or just research the Internet. Which processor would most suit me?
If you cut, etc. Is an AMD better but if you only look at gaming, Intel is better
AMD processors also have more computing cores in direct comparison and thus also a higher performance in tasks that are optimized for several cores (eg video editing)
Intel processors have higher clock frequencies which, as I wrote before, has an impact on performance in gaming / PC games
All Ryzen processors from AMD have unlocked multipliers and can therefore be overclocked
At Intel, in contrast, one would have to pay attention to buy a model that has a "K" in the name, since only these processors have unlocked multipliers
Ultimately, I would say that depends on what you do, if you only one or the other time editing videos and play games more often worthwhile is an Intel, but if you often edit videos and things like rendering, etc. It's worth it already a Ryzen sooner.
But with the prices I would use either way AMD (at this time) since the Intel chips are currently quite expensive
Okay, I see in the comments, the opinions split again, which does not help you, so I have to catch up…
Earlier, about 5 years ago, Intel was better, without a doubt, but since the new generation of Ryzen, the two companies now deliver a head to head race. Intel has the better single core performance and Amd the better multi core performance, which is because the Intel CPUs are taken higher but do not have that many cores (but Coffee Lake is not quite sure). The Intel CPUs are better for playing, no doubt, but you have to expect higher temperatures because they are not soldered. AMD is better at video cut, much cores "lower" clock and soldered CPU. In addition, AMD is also cheaper. Finally:
-AMD: Is good for video editing, and also games, is cheaper and stays cooler, has more cores, which I mean that they are future-proof.
-Intel: Is not soldered perfect for playing and in my opinion too expensive.
In addition, you can overclock all AMD CPUs, but Intel only if a "K" in the name.
So if I stream or record my gameplays, cut videos, etc. Is an amd cpu more advantageous (better)?
Yes, correct!
When playing you will hardly notice a difference between the two, but in the price and the speed of work when cutting video you will notice him!
One can't say so flatly, since Intel and AMD are manufacturing companies. Ultimately, you can only compare a few processors or systems against each other.
However, a few years ago, before AMD released Ryzen, AMD did not have any processor cores that could compete with the more powerful Intel processors, so at a certain level it was practically just Intel.
Meanwhile, it looks a bit different. Decisive for the choice is above all the price class of the entire system. The first question is whether a separate graphics card should be installed or not.
For the beginner area with processor graphics the Ryzen 5 2400G is probably not a bad choice.

The reason for this is the significantly higher graphics card compared to Intel.
As soon as you start with a separate graphics card, the Processorgraphic logically does not matter anymore. Then it depends on the games, as Intel tends to have more single-core performance and AMD type-safe more cores.
