PC has been replaced and made worse, what now upgrade?

I had to have my PC repaired (the father of a colleague is a PC expert) he said motherboard is dead… Then he built me a relatively bad PC with these components

AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE

ASUS M4A87TD USB3

ZOTAC GTX 560 AMP! Edition

be quiet! 700w power supply

8GB ddr3 ram (no idea how much mhz)

My problem now is that I really can't play liquid at all, and the best example is Fortnite, it freezes when I play in 1680x1050 (native resolution).

So, my question is, what is more important to upgrade to gamble on what… I'm not talking about AAA title but something like GTA V, etc

Would an AMD Phenom II X6 1100T be a good investment for now?

EDIT! It is 100% of my cpu… It is fully utilized to 100%

The Fortnite freezt is not your hardware!

If you want to stay cheap, you can upgrade to a x6 ~ 40% more power.

To the current cpu would fit a 650 ti 30% upgrade

To a x6, a gtx 950 4gb 70% upgrade

8gb ram rich!

An SSD, since you have sata 3.

Your system is quite useful as a gaming machine, with upgrade… Especially the cpu.

Fortnite would have to bring synonymous with your current config in fhd on low ü60frames.

Price wise, the x6 cpu but quite expensive, more than 30 euro are not worth the performance.

The graphics card is likely to get loose for 70 euro, otherwise you can simply access the stronger but then braked rx570 back. (from 70 euro on ebay)

amam likes amd generally fast, you could deal with ram oc and overclock your ram. Ddr3 2000 is guaranteed supported…

Replace GPU - the GTX560 is far too slow - and overclock CPU as much as possible. 4GHz should join any 965 provided you have a usable cooler. Does not really bring much, the CPU is too old and too slow, but a few percent more power is better than nothing. A stronger AM3 CPU is not worth it, too expensive.

For a GTX 560 you might get 15 euro, an 8GB RX570 will cost you new 135 euro.

After that you will have to replace practically all the rest, CPU, motherboard and RAM maybe soon on Zen 2, plus an SSD and a new power supply, possibly a new case. And then you are for a new overall system of the lower middle class at 650 euro.

The problem is with the drivers. Not on the hardware.

Your PC is really good.

You do not have to do anything.

Ma

Oh okay, thank you, can you link a few links with drivers? The Graka is up to date.

Ma

But it always freezes… How can I fix the Fortnite freeze? And many thanks for your answer

Ma

Have an Arctic Freezer 13 and he is already at 4.1 GHz

Ma

So, I just got DriverEasy PRO… Were really a few drivers outdated… Let's see.

Ma

YES! Danke! After I had everything installed, Fortnite works perfectly again! I really wanted to give you the most helpful answer but got it

Ph

I do not know exactly what you mean by freezes.

Can you go into it a bit more?

Ma

It stops

Ma

Oh great… It is not perfect

Ph

Do you have programs running in the background or in the autostart? Maybe your ram is just full.

You can also show that with msi afterburner ingame and then see where it hooks.

did you install a ssd?

Ma

I have not installed fortnite, netflix, spotify, cpu z, driver easy pro and msi afterburner so do not think so

no I did not.

Ph

Then you probably just missing the one other driver
