Ping after Internet provider change twice as high?

Evening together

I have now switched from Telekom with a 50k line to PYUR and now have a 200k line there. At Telekom I had a maximum of 25 pings in games like Rocket League, and only 15 pings or so during the night, which was very good because I live in the prefabricated building. At Fortnite e.g. Sometimes even under 10 pings. At PYUR I now have a 30-40 ping at Rocket League and at Fortnite 25-40 ping, of course some of you have worse ping and the ping is also okay, but if you had a better ping and now you have a worse ping you will notice the extreme, degree in games like Fortnite for the purpose of building etc.

At Telekom I had my own "room" in the basement, in other words I didn't have to share my IP address or distributor or whatever that means with other residents who are at Telekom. At PYUR, they have now set up my own IP address after calling me, before I had to share a line with the other residents who are in the house at PYUR. Ping is now more stable, it does not fluctuate anymore, but it is still twice as high during the night as with Telekom. Incidentally, I'm the only one who gambles in the household, my mother and brother only use their Wi-Fi on their mobile phones and landlines, which has never caused any problems.

My question is whether it could be because the PYUR server that I start is further away than the Telekom server. Because otherwise everything is identical to when I was at Telekom.

Or is it because I was connected to the DSL socket at Telekom and now my Internet connection is pulled out at PYUR when I connect to the television?

Please contact your provider about this, a check of your line can be carried out remotely, if necessary there's a fault… Also points such as current drivers on the router etc. Can be discussed here and offered as a solution…

First of all, thank you very much for your answer to my question. As I said after calling they gave me their own IP, which is more stable but still partly high for this line. I will call my provider again and ask.

If I should know what you mean by "remote", I don't know what that should be.
