I want to stream Fortnite and that's why I've been informed as I upgrade my pc now i'm at RAM, i'm not sure if i need 16, 32 or even 64gb of RAM so i'd rather buy a 16gb single DDR4 first if it is not enough to buy exactly the same again so I come to 32GB so I save more than if I buy 16 dual kit it is not enough then throw it away and buy a 32GB dual kit. What should I do? Would that work at all?
16 GB RAM is enough for that. The best 2x 8 GB, then run in dual channel. The best one with 3000 or 3200 MHz.
Always use dual channel.
16 GB are currently sufficient and the ability to retrofit later exists if needed.
With 4 slots I would take a 16 GB dual kit. That's fine, if you do not buy a second.
And even with only 2 slots I would take the 16 GB dual kit. You will not need 32 more.
Because of dual-channel operation definitely 2x8 or 2x16. 2x8 should be sufficient for all concerns, if you have no special requirements.
First part: Jap
Second part: Speed only brings something in combination with the right latency. Here it is more important to pay attention to the process times.
"Speed only comes in combination with the right latency"
Joa, that's it. But with a good bar, a higher bar is more preferable to latency. Or. The things are already optimally optimized at the factory
