First just ask my PC for more information.
Ryzen 5 2600x
an RX 5600 XT
and as RAM 1 x 16 GB DDR4 2666MHz.
Well, I have seen that some benchmark testers achieve values around 160 FPS on average with low settings and the same system. I wonder how I can sometimes play with 50-70 FPS while people with a maybe worse setup reach 100 and more.
What could be the reason?
PS: The video of the benchmark
Ever tried to take better care of your pc
Sometimes the engine for Fortnite (UnrealEngine) is rather poorly optimized. Mainly, the game loads the CPU.
Even people with comparatively good systems sometimes have FPS losses in late game. It doesn't have to have a lot to do with your PC, even if the processor could be upgraded.
It is also possible that the benchmark tests are partly out of date. The performance has decreased, at least noticeably, since Chapter Two.
I've had it for 2 weeks
Maybe you have wrong attitudes
The benchmark is 2 months old and when there are reports of an average of 144 FPS and I sometimes even drop to 50 I wonder what this is about
Is that mainly at the beginning of the game or in the late game?
Everything on low Multi Threaded Rendering what else do you want to know?
Always, so it starts in the lobby and continues like this until the end
Are your drivers up to date?
Yes
Are you wearing vsync? Or a wish setup
It is of course difficult to assess from a distance, but it can also simply be that your PC is "loaded" by other programs.
No Vsync is from PC is from Amazon
Otherwise I only have Discord open
Ever tried to overclock the graphics card?
What does the temperature of your CPU look like or the load?
Yes i already have
Is your storage space too full? A reset helps sometimes
The CPU has a temperature of 60-70 degrees and is used to 50-60%
SSD still 120 of 223 GB
Possibly reinstallation or the pc gets too hot
RAM 1 x 16 GB DDR4 2666MHz.
Makes a performance loss of 30-40% in gaming.
A just a RAM bar
B 2666MHz are not enough. At least 3200MHz
Should I then sell it or what should I do with it
No it has a temperature of 60 degrees and what do you mean by reinstalling?
Reinstall fortnite
Oh yes I can try that
If that doesn't help I can't help you any further.
I don't know what you're doing with it. How do you get a single bar with 16GB on the narrow board and to top it off with another one with 2666 MHz and all in a Ryzen system that needs fast RAM!
So yes, I would sell it and swap it for 2 x 8 GB 3200/3400/3600 MHz RAM
Okay, so sell bars for 50 and buy two for 80 right? And I only have two slots but that doesn't matter, doesn't it?
Yes that could fit with the money.
And yes, if you only have 2 slots that's okay too, don't think that you will need 32 GB of RAM in the near future
