Games like Fortnite jerking while playing?

Somehow sometimes Fortnite, GTA or something on my PC jerks so I do not know why? It just stops short, the picture sometimes stands even for one or more seconds? Do you know an answer?

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600

Graphics card: Gigabyte GTX 1060 6Gb Windforce OC

RAM: 2x4Gb Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2666

The RAM is mostly used up while playing at 7Gb, does that mean it could be and would it help to buy 8Gb again?

Or maybe on my monitor, the AOC E2460S? It has 60 Hz but I could overclock it to 80?

Fortnite runs permanently at 80 - 90 FPS on highest settings and without V-Sync

Re

80-90 FPS but jerky? Do you mean the Nachladuckuckler? Is Fortnite installed on the SSD?

Zo

Update graphics card driver

Al

Then try it, without overclocking the monitor

Ga

Yes that does not work synonymous, because I overclocked the recently and before it jerky already.

Ga

Yes it can be… No is on my HDD, because the SSD is full. But I can even try to pull the other over and install Fortnite on the SSD.

Re

How full? With Windows on it should always be at least 20GB free.

Al

Oke

Ga

Yes I have 250 Gb and a few more games on it… Can somehow be transferred to the HDD without the score is lost?

Re

In Steam e.g. Very easy. In Steam, right-click> Properties> Local> Move Installation Directory

Ga

Yes thank you… I've done it now and now it only rarely jerks.
