Currently playing fortnite and it is clearly "better" right now in the sense that it is more up to date and offers a larger community. One can simply omit the word "better" here, as Gta is a very timeless game and simply remains legendary and does not lose the player base properly, up to a certain number. You can't compare that

Fortnite is a simple comic style player for little kids. They were lucky that they achieved something, but the game is not special.
