I had Fortnite open in the background today while watching YouTube on PC. Then I got up and hit the table so hard that the power supply cable blew out.
Can something happen?

But it doesn't have to. In such cases, the systems are usually protected, as a lightning strike could have caused a power failure.
But what is very likely is that data that was previously in memory is now gone. E.g. An important work that you have written but not yet saved can then be rewritten, etc.
In the worst case, errors can still occur in the system.
