4: 3 play but record with 16: 9?

I play Fortnite with 4: 3, but would like to record 16: 9 because otherwise I have black bars, that is annoying VERY. My videos are 4k50FPS. Even though I record with 1920x1080 and render it with 3840x2160, it has black bars. On the Internet, I have found no solution without which I can continue to play 4: 3. (Take on OBS)

You can stretch your recording with OBS. Then the 4: 3 screen format is drawn to 16: 9.

Nu

Sounds like pearls before the sows.

All well and good, only the common consumer looks at his tiny little smartphone display and at the end of the video, his dATA volume is used up.

How do you mean? I have the resolution 1600: 1550 and record at 1920x1080, it is also not streched, only black bars

De

I do not understand. If you want to play with 4: 3 but want to record 16: 9, then you get quite a black bar left / right. The picture has to be fitted. If not, then it would be horizontal.

3840x2160 is synonymous 16: 9 and just bigger and does not change anything.

So just with my monitor resolution or with 1600x1550 record?

De

Is your monitor resolution = 1600x1550 or another? That's the aspect ratio 32:31 and again something different. I do not understand.

Uk

My monitor resolution is 3840x2160, but I'm playing steche, that is 4: 3 and that's just 1600x1550

But you can push it on the start page at OBS in the format that you want.

De

1600x1550 is not 4: 3 but just 32:31.

If you set ingame 1600x1550 then OBS has to project this image into the video for recording. You can set how it should happen. If the aspect ratio does not match, it is either distorted or with bars. There's no other possibility.

Uk

It still has black bars, that's the problem

Then you're doing something wrong.
