How to fix Windows Media Player errors?

I wanted a Fortnite replay with Windows Media Player

open, but this error message appears. How can I fix this?

Install the VLC media player.

Windows Media Player simply can't display all formats, but VLC can be used much more universally.

What type of file do you see there?

Then it is not a standardized file format.

That seems to be a file format that can only be read by Fortnite itself. Please check whether there's the possibility in Fortnite to export the file as MP4 or similar.
