Fortnite output device is not selected?

In Fortnite you can choose your input and output device. I now have the problem (or for a long time) that I can't select my output devices (and input), but because "standard output" must ALWAYS be selected

I restarted the game, reinstalled it, and checked it for errors in the Epic Launcher… Still, you can only select standard (input) output

I have already selected my desired output device as standard in the Windows sound settings in fortnite, but that does not change anything and the sound is broadcast via the wrong one.

does anyone know how to fix the problem that i have no choice in fortnite of my input and output devices?
