I can recommend the Creative Sound BlasterX headsets. I have been using the SBX H5 analog headset for 3 years, but in connection with a creative recon3D sound card. The location is incredibly good, at the beginning it happened that I took off the headset because I thought someone was coming into my room. It was in the game.

So I've now tested both (990 and 770)
Sound = notice no difference
The only difference is that at 990 you can hear something outside and at 770 you don't hear any background noises.
