Update takes up disk space?

When I update fortnite something new is installed and something is taken down again, right? But how do I get the full rest back? I don't want to lose more and more memory

The old one is deleted from the hard drive, then you have the memory free again. Games get a little bigger over time, you can't prevent that, but you can compress the memory (but it should normally be from the download itself)

Most of the time you won't get the full disk space back because it's an update and more is added than how it goes. If you want to get the rest of it back, you only have to uninstall 😂
