Epic Games Launcher shows low disk space, why?

Since yesterday, when I try to carry out a Fortnite update in the Epic games Launcher, I always see: "Insufficient space can lead to delays in updates" I still have 30GB free and the update is around 5GB. My other hard drive, which is actually not entered as a download location, still has more than 900GB available.

Then enter the other as a download location…

I am hitting the same issue. The disk partition that has Epic has 70GB free out of 237GB total. Not sure why it is complaining and why is it taking so long to update. The current update (which is only 41.4MB - yes MB) is 63% done after 8 minutes.
