Can you get screen tearing with every game?

Since I will soon get a new very powerful PC, I wonder if I B at fortnite or cs go screen tearing I heard that you don't get tearing when playing games that are not so complex, is that right? I would have z. B at fortnite 200fps at 60hz would I get strong screen tearing at fortnite?

If you have a 60Hz monitor and get over 60FPS then you get screen tearing. On the other hand, you can still set the FPS to a limit of 60 or do V-Sync. 200 FPS won't bring you much with a 60Hz monitor anyway since no more than 60 FPS are displayed.

If you want to play with more FPS you have to buy a monitor with more Hz and preferably with G-Sync (Nivida) and FreeSync (AMD). FreeSync monitors now also work with Nvidia cards.

Screen tearing is somewhat different for every game, for some it is very hard to see for some. Of course, the FPS number is also important here.

Yes, I thought so because there are no FreeSync monitors with 60Hz as it would be pointless.
