Hello in fortnite usually a 20ping at once my ping goes on 100 I've just bought a new router, please help.
This usually happens when someone loads files in the house.
Is since 5 days so
Restart the router and your PC. Turn off all other devices connected to the router (cell phone, TV, etc.). Start the task manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc), click on "Performance" and then "Ethernet / WLAN". There should be a speed of 0 Mbps displayed while the browser is closed. Then try Fortnite again and test the ping.
How exactly is the PC connected to the router? By cable?

5GHZ is used by a lot less people than 2.4 GHz and so you have less interference from your neighbors' WLANs. Even a microwave that works with 2.4 GHz, your WLAN can't disturb so easily.
In addition, the speed is much higher.
