Why is the sound on Fortnite from voice chat?

When I activate voice chat on Fortnite and join a group, the sound goes off every time. I activated everything because of voice chat, etc… Why is that? It happens every time and I can't use my headset that way. Have from Sony WH-CH500, please help me.

You hate push to talk. Turn that off and the problem has disappeared without a trace.

Have I tried a thousand times, does not work.
