Live Gold for GTA V?

Do I need to pay live gold for gta 5 since the new update that you no longer need live gold on Xbox for Fortnite, Apex, Warzone etc. Or do I still have to pay live gold for GTA V?

I'm not 100% sure, but on the Playstation you never needed PS Plus for Fortnite, Apex and Warzone, but you did for GTA online. Therefore, I suspect that it will be the same with XBOX.

I haven't really looked at it that much, but I'm assuming that you still need Live Gold for full price games. So this new update only works for free to play games.

Play for free is only possible with Free to Play titles.

For Grand Theft Auto V you still need Xbox Live Gold.
