Fortnite view reversal?

For my son, the Fortnite view reversal is wrong. This is how he explained it to me: If you scroll up with the stick, you look down. It would be desirable that mach look up. I have no idea what he means. I don't know anything about Fortnite at all. Maybe someone can give me a tip.
