Is this PC good for streaming?

I want to record and stream games such as Fortnite, Pubg, BO4, and Battlefield V. But also games that will come out in the future, I may want to still stream well. Would you recommend a 144hz monitor for this PC? (If so which ones? For the best price performance) Or you rather say that I also with the streaming or record not always at the achievement for 144hz it will come with the pc and guesses me from a 144hz monitor to buy?

The CPU cooler does not fit in the case.

Otherwise you can do it that way.

But there's still a lot of savings potential available.

2600 without x

For the highest possible FPS you would have to grab Intel.

For 144 Hz, the confi would not be a problem, but in itself there are some better / more meaningful components, for less money.

So I would rather do that for almost 15 euro less:

The Ryzen 5 2600X is not worth it! Especially if you want such a strong cooler!

Save yourself the money and overclock if necessary just yourself! That's really easy with enough research!

-

The MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC Mainboard is much better in terms of features, but in no way worse than this rather cheap MSI X470 Gaming Pro motherboard.

-

And for only 5 euro more there's the Cooler Master MB511 RGB housing, which offers a much better airflow!

In contrast to your old case, it also supports the CPU cooler, because it is 162 mm high and the MB511 can be up to 165 mm high.

Your AeroCool Quartz Red case only supports a maximum of 152 mm!

Then, for just 8 euro more, the Crucial MX500 SSD with 500 GB of memory instead of just the 250 GB of the Samsung 850 Evo.

And the MX500 is in no way really bad, at least so that it makes no difference to you.

-

And for 9 euro more, there was a significantly higher-quality power supply with even 50 watts more power, so there, I think, you should strike, if you can.

For 144 Hz, Full HD monitors, these are a few good suggestions, in my opinion:

WQHD and 144 Hz would probably not be a problem for most games, but on newer and more common AAA titles, you'll need to play with slightly reduced details. The decision is up to you.

Your PC is already very well designed, just a little "error" because of streaming. Streaming requires a lot of CPU power. That's why you should definitely take the Ryzen 2700 (without x), instead of the 2600s. The then has 8 cores / 16 threads, and creates both at the same time: stream + game:-)

And yes, if you play in Full HD, the PC is also sufficient for 144 Hz. Maybe you'll only manage 120 FPS, but that does not matter.

Another tip: I recommend you install a larger, or a second SSD, because otherwise the load times take forever or even the stream jerky when the HDD is busy reading files from the game.

Your games you want to stream should all be on the SSD.

mi

Only to completeness…

As 120 FPS also creates the Ryzen, and the i9 would perhaps create + 15% more FPS. At least 8 cores are necessary for streaming, as it would have to be the i9-9900 …

Thank you. But the Ryzen 7 2700/2700x exceeds my budget a bit. Can I also reach for the 1700x? He makes little difference to the 2600x and has more cores.

mi

Please take in any case without x, and in any case prefer the 1700 than 2600, exactly! You absolutely need 8 full cores to stream.

But if you can still save on the 2700, I would recommend you.

Fl

OK. Are the 2070 slowing down the 1700? Or vice versa (do not know me so well, sorry if the question sounds stupid)

mi

No, your question is smart, nobody wants to waste power!

Do not worry, the Rzyen 1700/2700 is fast enough for the RTX 2070.

If you either take Full HD @ 144 Hz or WQHD @ 60 Hz, you can fully utilize and exploit your CPU and the graphics card without having a bottleneck somewhere!

Fl

OK!

First of all thank you for your answer. Is it possible to change the colors of the fans from the case? If yes how?

By RGB controller, which you then connect to the motherboard.

Then you can control the lighting via the MSI software.
