My question now is if I really need Ps + to play online games like Fortnite, Dead by Daylight or Need for Speed …

As far as I know, you generally always need PS + for online games

I do not play something like fortnite but I have some online games and they all only work with PS +

You need PS + to play online games. There's one exception, namely Fortnite, because you do not need it.

You need for everything online to play ps plus, fortnite is probably without, but not all of the game.
