Download Fortnite to external hard drive?

I bought an external hard drive and want to download Fortnite on it. When I try, however, I only see that it is not being downloaded to the hard drive and that I have too little space. Can someone please explain how I can change this?

There you can set what you want to download the games to. It says where all your games are, have a look through there.

But it already has 320 GB!

Can't you download it on your PC, start the installation and choose the installation path?

Where can I find the installation path?

When you start an installation (of a game, for example) you usually have An installer that will guide you through the installation process. There you almost always have the option to change the installation path.
