I want to download a game (Fortnite) to another hard drive because my SSD 120gb is too small for the game. How can I do that? I want to put the game on my hard drive with 500gb on it
Then you have to set the installation path on your second hard drive in EpicGamesLauncher.
Best wishes
How do I do that?
First, make a backup of the game you want to move.
Open the Epic Games Launcher and uninstall the game.
After uninstalling, you can install the game under the new path. Cancel the download and close the Epic Games Launcher.
Now move the created backup from the game to the new folder that should have been created automatically by the launcher.
If the data has been moved, you can start the Epic Games Launcher and the game files should be checked.
So you can move a game from the Epic Games Launcher relatively easily and without reinstalling and downloading again and change the storage location.
I only know how to do it with a new installation. If you have deleted it and downloaded it again, you can change the file path. Unfortunately, I don't know how it works.
Thanks, unfortunately, only worked with a new installation or I did something wrong, thanks anyway
Did it help you?
If so, make sure that you still have enough storage space in the future.
Yes helped thanks
