I have a hard drive write error with steam as mentioned and therefore can't download anything. It works for other games. I tried it and Fortnite works, I can download it without any problems. Can someone help me? Do I have to buy a new hard drive?
Try going to Steam → Settings on the top left
There's a point called download. Click on it and go to the Steam library folder. Then add to a new folder (or something like that) and specify the Steam path again
If that doesn't work, first reinstall steam and try again. I would almost certainly say that your hard drive is not broken
