How can you make money from tournaments in Fortnite?

I would like to receive prize money from fortnite cash cups. But how does it go or how do I apply and how do I get the money? Can someone with a good understanding of fortnite cash cups please provide me with precise information about what the requirements are etc? And is that also possible at switch?
