FPS DROPS IN GAMES? - 1

I have had severe stutters in games (mostly Fortnite) for a few weeks. I have a constant 165 FPS in the games, but often the FPS suddenly drop to 40-80. I have already reset my PC and used old drivers (graphics card), but it does absolutely nothing. The PC doesn't get hot at all, because I have a 240mm radiator for the CPU. My graphic card is only 60-70https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwj_y4e3icLuAhVP3KQKHa5DA7UQFjAJegQIAhAC&url=https%3A%2F%2Fde.ccm.net%2Ffaq%2F10162-gradzeichen-mit-tastatur-eingeben&usg=AOvVaw0NrEjh4-2YEcAmDLHYeZtm C. Can someone help me?

Go to the discord and ask your question there. They can surely help you.

I play in 1080p and in the lowest graphics settings.

Thanks I will do that

Yes, have had the pc for 2 years, everything always went great.

Times test the quality to 780p and check whether the frame drops continue to take place. If that doesn't help, check the Task Manager to see if any component is busy with other programs. (Right click on the taskbar and then select Task Manager). If any component is busy (e.g. 80% of the CPU) without having any program open, check out what things you don't need and end its tasks. Otherwise, as another recommendation, MSI Afterburner would come to mind. You can use it to overclock the GPU and RAM. I would recommend you increase the GPU by 30MhZ first. If you see that the temperature of the GPU is over 80 ingame, set the fan speed to 70-80% (you have to turn on the fan speed control in the options)

To see the temperatures of the GPU, CPU and HDD / SDD / SATA, I can also recommend SpeedFan.

The reason why I currently focus a lot on cooling is that the components throttle themselves when the heat is too high and tap less MhZ so that they can cool better, which could cause the frame drops. Oh yes, in case you don't already know, GPU means Graphics Processor Unit, it is simply the graphics card / GraKa.

Hopefully I can help you with that. I'm not a fan of Fortnite, but gamers should just stick together no matter what they play. If you continue to have problems, don't be afraid to ask me.

Overclocking and Cooling Control, I already made the optimizations as a child and am already quite good at that. It's been a hobby so far, but the IT degree is very close.

First I would look at the behavior inGame with the MSI Afterburner tool. CPU, GPU, RAM load, FPS and frametime
