I recently created a new graphics card, the rx 580 8gb oc edition.
My problem is that as soon as I start something more powerful, e.g. Fortnite or the 3D benchmark, I get a black screen and my monitor no longer recognizes a graphics card (although it is still on). The fans of the graphics card spin completely and get quite loud. I uninstalled all drivers from the old graphics card and installed the new drivers.
I have no idea what to do
This is my system:
CPU: intel core i5 4590 3.30GHz
Graphics card: Radeon rx 580 8gb dual oc edition
2x8gb ram
Mainboard: H-81 gamer
One 120 GB ssd and one 1T hdd
Power supply: convenient 500 watts
Thanks for your answers / help
PS: (maybe I have too little watts?)
Allo power plug installed? https://www.amd.com/...pu-install
These are probably the graphics drivers, I had the same problem, install the 20.4.2 drivers if you don't already have them. They are the most stable.
The problem is that your graphics card gets so hot with more demanding applications that it has to switch off in order not to overheat
The fans spin to improve the temperatures of the graphics card so that it does not have to switch off, but the cooling performance is still not enough as it looks
Which case do you have?
As @ kuku27 said: did you connect all the power plugs to the graphics card? Otherwise you can still check the temperatures, but a temperature problem with a new graphics card is very unlikely.
The graphics card gets pretty hot as soon as I start a game
What can I do about high temperatures?

How many degrees does the map reach? You can change the thermal paste against high temperatures.
