I recently bought the Nvidia Geforce 2060 to get more FPS in Fortnite. Has improved but 0 and before that I had only one Nvidia Geforce GTX 780th CPU: I7 4790 K.
The GTX 780 would have been enough for Fortnite, but well, now you have a new one.
The problem is obviously elsewhere. Do you use perhaps an old HDD, on which both Windows and Fortnite is installed?
Otherwise, what about other games?
Look at the CPU usage in the Task Manager when nothing is open.
Then install MSI Afterburner, look at all utilization and temperatures while gambling.

I could have written you one way or the other, because you would have saved money.
CPU: I7 4790K
Always the same. The CPU is slowed down by patches, depending on the application and case up to 50%
If one had resorted to an AMD Ryzen and an AMD graphics card, the problems with Fornite would be much less.
As an aside, Fornite is one of the worst developed games ever. I've never seen such a ridiculously bad and grotty code in any other game!
Is your video card driver up-to-date?
Yes
CPU usage is about 60-70% and GPU is 25%: D

Are the FPS lured?
And the remaining points?
Try to help people here instead of promoting AMD. For a long time I have not read any meaningful contribution from you, but I know that you are capable of more.
