Hi there on my RTX 2070 1 fan is no longer in there and I would like to buy a new one. I liked the RTX 2080 Super and I wanted to ask if it was clear with my system?
CPU: ryzen 5 2600
Housing: Sharkoon tg5
CPU cooler: NZXT Kraken X42 140 mm
Mainboard: MSi B450 Mortar
Power supply: Bequit Purepower 11 500 watt
RAm: 2x8gb corsair vengance rgb pro 3200mhz
just want to play games like Valorant and fortnite on 144hz fullHD
Rather not recommended. The CPU will severely limit the GPU's performance. Rather go towards RX 5700
Should I then probably put on a different CPU? E.g. R5 3600?
I would also do net, because then you will need almost everything new and RX 5700 and R5 2600 is a good combination.
Assuming I would combine the 2080s with the R5 2600, what problems would I have while gaming?
Or should I go with a 2080 because I honestly don't feel like an AMD card xD
You have no disadvantages, but you do not get the performance that the RTX 2080S could have. So wasted money
That would rather work but the 2600 bottleneck the graka
Nice that you have named your hardware so comprehensively.
However, you forgot your RTX 2070s.
Often you can get "original" replacement relatively easily.
The only thing that is needed is the exact description of the Graka.

Or you can inquire directly with the respective graphics card manufacturer.
The prospects for success are excellent.
By the way:
The R5-2600 is clearly too weak for an RTX 2080s:

The RTX 2070s is already a bit oversized, but still a very good choice:

I would definitely try to fix this graphics card. For your current games, it is definitely (far) more than sufficient.
If you ever need significantly more "computing power", I would then use the R7-3700x (8/16 cores) (TDP: 65W).
This way you can also "stream" your games (live) excellently.
You just have an unnecessary hole in your wallet.
